The Fountain Fire Chief has banned fireworks in the City of Fountain effectively immediately and until further notice. Any person caught violating a fire restriction shall be arrested and face a fine up to $1,000 and/or 90 days in jail. Fireworks are illegal, also there will be no open or prescribed burining, no bonfires or recreational fires allowed.
The Fountain Downtown Events Association will host its annual Main Street Blast Dance in front of City Hall from 5 pm to 10 pm on the Fourth of July. There will be music by Phat Daddy, fun activities for the kids, live show from the Gold Canyon Gunfighters, fashion show and perfromances throughout the evening.
