The Fountain Creek Nature Center is inviting Grandparents, parents, mentors and kids to the “Bond at the Pond” event on Saturday, October 8, 2011 from 9:30 am to Noon. The Bond at the Pond event is part of the “No Child Left Inside” program. The Fountain Creek Nature Center Bond at the Pond event will start by looking at pond life at the Fountain Creek Nature Center, then kids and their families will make an old-fashioned fishing pole and try fishing at Willow Springs Pond at the Fountain Creek Nature Center. Reservations Required ($4 members,$5 non-members) Make reservations for the “Bond at the Pond” event by calling the Fountain Creek Nature Center (719) 520-6745.
