Fountain, CO – The Fountain Police Department would like to remind our citizens to take pro-active steps to minimize the chance of becoming a victim of a vehicle break in. 

Never leave valuable items in your vehicle such as documents that contain personal identifying information, currency/spare change, firearms, laptop computers and cell phones. Never leave items in plain sight that would entice someone to break in to your vehicle. But most importantly, don’t leave it running in the driveway or parking lot, always lock your vehicle and utilize the vehicle’s anti-theft system if so equipped.
