Give a Gift to the El Paso County Nature Centers

Meet siblings Ashley and Tyler Hamlin, Fountain Creek Nature Center campers and volunteers. In discussing his experiences at nature camp, Tyler explains, “Through playing camp games like Ninja, Camouflage, and Fire in the Forest we made friends and learned to enjoy nature and animals too. Magic spot taught us to sit still and give our brains a rest so we could work better.”
Ashley recently authored a research paper indicating that with the Front Range population growth, parks in general need more funding to maintain trails and open space.

Ashley and Tyler’s advice to El Paso County Nature Centers- “Keep doing what you’re doing! Educate young people by starting them off with outdoor fun and it creates a love of the outdoors.”

Please help us continue connecting youth to nature and inspiring bright stewards like Ashley and Tyler by donating to Friends of El Paso County Nature Centers’ end-of-year campaign! Your tax-deductible donation can be easily made online.
