Honor a Veteran with a wreath this December 18th. Show your support to our veterans by honoring them with a remembrance wreath for Christmas. Each wreath is only $15. Wreaths Across America is a national fundraising program to honor veterans with beautiful fresh evergreen wreaths on veterans’ graves in December.
“We have 218 veterans’ graves,” said Amber Bradish, co-chair of the Friends of the Fountain Fairview Cemetery. “Our goal is 218. So far, we have 28 wreaths.”
Fountain Fairview Cemetery is located at 757 S. Santa Fe Ave.

The Friends of Fairview Cemetery works to protect and preserve headstones of the Fountain Fairview Cemetery in Fountain. This association of volunteers formed in 2012 as a result of vandalism to headstones at the cemetery, many of which have historical significance.
The organization hosts events to educate the people of the history of Fountain and the importance of cemeteries. Recently the group held an open house and organized a series of headstone cleaning days.
On Nov. 18 there will be another opportunity to meet with Friends of Fairview Cemetery members and learn about the organization’s mission and the Wreaths Across America event. The event will be at Peaks N Pines, 212 W. Illinois Ave., from 4-6 p.m.
Save the Date: The Wreaths Across America laying of wreaths at veterans’ graves will be Dec. 18.
