FALLEN TREES FROM MARCH BLIZZARD TURNED INTO FREE MULCH FOR RESIDENTS

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The City of Colorado Springs’ City Forestry division is grinding up fallen trees and debris recovered after this month’s blizzard into mulch. The mulch will be used in our local parks and playgrounds. Some of it will also be available at no charge to local residents. It’s available for pick up across from the Forestry Office, located at 1601 Recreation Way. Residents must bring their own tools and containers for loading and transporting.
