Learn the proper techniques of archaeological excavation and the technologies used by ancient native peoples. Participants will dig up “artifacts” and tell a story about how native groups made and used the objects. Led by Jones LeFae, Master’s degree candidate in anthropology at UC Denver, member of the Colorado Archaeology Society and nature center volunteer. $4 per member, $5 per nonmember.
