Do your kids spend too much time in front of a screen or connected to something electronic? They need more time outdoors! Re-connect your kids to nature by registering them for Spring Break Nature Camp at Fountain Creek Nature Center, March 26-30. “Whoo Are You?” sets the tone for this fun and active, hands-on week of animal and plant knowledge.
From 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., children in 1st through 6th grades will hike with professional outdoor educators, see live animals, explore the woods and ponds, create crafts, play games and sing songs. Each camper receives a t-shirt and group photo.
“No child Left Inside” is a goal of your El Paso County Parks Nature Centers. Our dedicated staff and volunteers are committed to connecting your children to the natural world and inspiring them to become stewards of your world. In this technologically oriented society, constrained in obesity and inactivity, it is good to play outside. Come play with us!
Pre-register by March 20. Space is limited so call or come by today!
Cost is $130/camper. Scholarships and discounts are available. Contact Nancy Bernard at 719-520-6745, email nancybernard@elpasoco.com, or visit our website www.elpasocountyparks.com.

FVTimes.com was started by me, Liz Alexander with Pink Realty. Yes, I'm in real estate. I think real estate is so much more than buying and selling homes. It's all about the lifestyle, it's about community. Here in the Fountain, Widefield, Security and Southern Colorado Springs area we have such a wonderful sense of community. I wanted a place that best reflects the people, the places and the lifestyle we call home. FountainValaleyTimes.com is that place. We want to share what makes this community of ours so special.
