Watson Junior High School students and staff invite all are veterans and community members to share in a program of patriotic music in observance of Veterans Day, beginning at 7:30 a.m. Friday, November 8, in the large gym.
The program will feature WJH students in 8th grade band, 8th grade Orchestra, 6th, 7th, and 8th grade Choirs and members of the school’s NJHS. The WHS Navy Junior ROTC Color Guard will present the colors and honored guests will be members of the local VFW Chapter who will give a presentation on the symbols for each fold of the American Flag.
If you have been or currently are a member of one of our country’s armed forces, please join us in attending and wearing your branch’s uniform, so that you may be recognized. This will be a time of remembrance and celebration of those who have served our country to protect our freedom and peace.
