COLORADO SPRINGS – Temperatures are getting colder in Colorado and it is time for homeowners to get their sprinkler systems blown out. If not done in time, pipes could freeze and burst and end up costing thousands to repair. Blow out service costs range between $50 to $100.
Most homeowners blow out their sprinklers during mid September to early October before freezing temperatures arrive. Once your sprinkler system is blown out, remember to water the lawn with a hose during dry spells. This is also a good time to aerate and winterize your lawn. If you have some bare spots you can also spread some grass seed at this time.

FVTimes.com was started by me, Liz Alexander with Pink Realty. Yes, I'm in real estate. I think real estate is so much more than buying and selling homes. It's all about the lifestyle, it's about community. Here in the Fountain, Widefield, Security and Southern Colorado Springs area we have such a wonderful sense of community. I wanted a place that best reflects the people, the places and the lifestyle we call home. FountainValaleyTimes.com is that place. We want to share what makes this community of ours so special.
