A new Multiple Sclerosis support group is starting June 10, 2011 at the Security Public Library, 705 Aspen drive.
The group will meet every 2nd Friday of the month from 11am – 1pm.
These groups offer an opportunity for MS clients and family members to give and receive support and feedback for the accomplishments and challenges in their lives. These uplifting groups operate on two basic premises. First, while MS affects the person with the disease, it also impacts family and friends. Second, the best sources of support for someone coping with MS come from others facing the same challenges. Among others, discussion topics may include:
- Workplace issues
- Relationships with medical providers
- Family dynamics
- Life Skills

FVTimes.com was started by me, Liz Alexander with Pink Realty. Yes, I'm in real estate. I think real estate is so much more than buying and selling homes. It's all about the lifestyle, it's about community. Here in the Fountain, Widefield, Security and Southern Colorado Springs area we have such a wonderful sense of community. I wanted a place that best reflects the people, the places and the lifestyle we call home. FountainValaleyTimes.com is that place. We want to share what makes this community of ours so special.
