Cheyenne Mountain State Park is located in Colorado Springs, CO with 2701 acres to explore, 20 miles of hiking and biking trails, archery range, campsites and gazebos to rent out for family and company events.
The Limekiln Trailhead offers parking, restroom facilities, picnic tables, and a playground for the kids. Continue up the road and find 41 day-use, handicap accessible, picnic areas each with its own table and grill. From here, there is easy trail access and views to astound you!
The visitor center has educational exhibits, souvenir and refreshment shopping, or just to relax by the stone fireplace and the wall of windows. The Park offers top-notch environmental education programs, such as guided wildflower walks, family mystery hikes, animal education, geo-caching, Jr Ranger programs, weekly yoga and more.
The campground is open year round, with a total of 51 full service campsites and 10 basic walk-in tent sites available during the peak months. From mid-April to mid-October, the full service Camper Services store offers convenient camper check-in, essential supplies, coin operated showers, laundry, a playground and more! Our visitors frequently report wildlife sightings right from their campsite!
