Kids 6 to 18 Ride Mountain Metropolitan Transit All Summer for Just $25

Colorado Springs – Mountain Metropolitan Transit (MMT) is once again offering the Summer Haul Pass program for kids 6 to 18. Kids can ride the fixed-route buses all summer, June 1 through August 31, by purchasing the Summer Haul Pass for only $25.00.

MMT’s Summer Haul Pass program has helped many kids in the Pikes Peak region get to events, local attractions and even summer jobs. The haul pass/ticket, a dog tag worn around the neck, gives parents a great affordable option. Passes can be purchased online and are also available at the Transit Administration office, 1015 Transit Drive, Colorado Springs and at participating King Soopers and Safeway stores. Details about the program can also be found on MMT’s web site.

Mountain Metropolitan Transit provides local fixed-route bus service and Metro Mobility ADA paratransit service for Colorado Springs and the Pikes Peak region. All buses are wheelchair-lift equipped. Mountain Metropolitan Transit also provides other services such as Metro Rides’ ridesharing, vanpool, and bicycling programs. For added convenience, there are bike racks on all buses for riders who want to utilize the bike-n-busprogram.
