Pikes Peak Workforce Center Fall Job Fair, Wednesday October 8, from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Hotel Elegante, 2886 S. Circle Drive, 80906.Veterans allowed early entry at 9:30 a.m. Over 100 hiring employers expected to attend. Job seekers with interest, training and/or certification in the following occupations are encouraged to attend due to the large number of estimated job openings available in these industries:
• Health Care (175+ openings) – licensed CNA, LPN and RN;
• Information Technology (75+ openings) – program managers, network administrators, software engineering and design;
• Manufacturing (50+ openings) – supervisors, machine operators, and skilled trades; and
• Transportation (1,200+ openings) – CDL A and CDL B drivers for local and over-the-road trucking.
