The City of Colorado Springs has free mulch available on a first come first serve basis. Bring a truck or trash can and shovel and fill it up. This is a busy time of year for landscaping so the mulch bin may be empty. Come early and check. The free mulch can be picked up at 1601 Recreation Way. You will see a big metal building with Forestry Operations Center sign in front and fence around it. The free mulch pile is on the West side of the street, across from that building. Homeowners can load up what they need.

WHO IS FOUNTAIN VALLEY TIMES?
FVTimes.com was started by me, Liz Alexander with Pink Realty. Yes, I'm in real estate. I think real estate is so much more than buying and selling homes. It's all about the lifestyle, it's about community. Here in the Fountain, Widefield, Security and Southern Colorado Springs area we have such a wonderful sense of community. I wanted a place that best reflects the people, the places and the lifestyle we call home. FountainValaleyTimes.com is that place. We want to share what makes this community of ours so special. You can find all my posts HERE.
