Fountain Creek Nature Center invites parents & children to play outdoors on Saturday, May 7 from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm at Fountain Creek Family Fun Day. You can catch bugs with sweep nets, discover pond critters, enjoy puppet shows, birding and craft activities, musical entertainment, solar oven s’mores, water demos, face painting, balloon animals, and much more.   Explore the “Leave no Trace” campsite with REI, live birds from Ellicott Wildlife Rehabilitators, and fossils from Rocky Mountain Dinosaur Resource Center.   Free lunch provided by UMB Bank with paid admission.  Admission is $5 per person.  Children 3 and under are free.  Proceeds support El Paso County Nature Centers.  Get outside!  Call 520-6745 for more info.
