FORT CARSON, Colo. – Fort Carson will host a Joint Retiree Appreciation Day on Jan. 11 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Special Events Center on post.

The annual event recognizes the service of the military retiree population and provides updated information that is pertinent to the well being of the population. During the day there will be medical services exhibits providing education, audiology, optometry, flu shots and other health promotions. The Staff Judge Advocate Office will be available to assist retirees in completing powers of attorney, living wills and to answer questions and provide information about legal services. Retirees will also be able to update their ID cards and visit the Commissary and Exchange.
