The El Paso County Parks budget was reduced over 50% and only receives $1.50 per year from the average tax payer. During the same time span, the population has increased by 4%. This has resulted in reduced services to our youth.
Bear Creek and Fountain Creek Nature Centers connect our visitors to their natural and cultural resources and inspire them to become stewards for the parks and our environment. Environmental stewardship and appreciation starts with education!
