Bear Creek Nature Center will be hosting the 11th annual Bear Creek Bear Run Fundraiser on Saturday, November 8, at 2002 Creek Crossing Street. With over 400 runners in bear onesies, you won’t want to miss covering the quirkiest, most spirited, and bear-y best fun run in the Pikes Peak Region! All funds support the non-profit, Friends of El Paso County Nature Centers.
“This event is the single best day of my life & I cannot imagine how I ever got this far in life without the bear suit. I plan to wear it every day for the rest of my life.” -Anonymous 2022 bear. That’s the joy and enthusiasm you can expect from everyone at the Bear Creek Bear Run!
Schedule:
8:00 a.m. Check-in begins
9:00 a.m.- Costume contest
9:30 a.m.- Bear yoga
9:55 a.m.- Pre-run Dance Paw-ty
10:00 a.m.- Releasing the bears to run!
