El Paso County Road Conditions

El Paso County, Colorado – El Paso County Public Works has had 36 trucks working all areas since last night, and crews continue to work into the evening. Public Works reports County Priority 1 roads have been treated and they are seeing good breaking in some areas. Approximately 95% of County Priority 2 roads have also been treated and we are over 40% of the way through County Priority 3 roads. (Please note, this information does not apply to City of Colorado Springs roads).

The sun has come out and is aiding the cleanup effort. Roads have areas of snow pack and slick areas. (For a list of which roads in El Paso County are considered which priority level, visit the County Public Works website: https://publicworks.elpasoco.com/road-bridge/snow-plowing/)

Please be aware, roads are still VERY SLICK in many areas and we will see LOWS IN THE SINGLE DIGITS TONIGHT, so don’t let your guard down if you have to be out on the roads. Please be cautious and patient out there, and don’t forget to give the plows plenty of room to work. Thank you!
