LARIMER COUNTY – The Colorado State Patrol is requesting assistance from possible witnesses regarding a fatal vehicle-versus-pedestrian crash that took place Oct. 25 at approximately 11:40 PM. Troopers were called to investigate a crash between a 2002 Chevy pickup, driven by Joshua Coulter, 35, and pedestrian Chase Murdoch, 21 at the intersection of Mulberry and Summit View.
Investigators believe two eastbound vehicles passed Murdoch on Mulberry while he was running into or near the intersection at Summit View. The third vehicle, the Chevy pickup, struck Murdoch; he was declared dead at the scene. Investigators are asking the occupants of these two vehicles to contact them at: 303-239-4501, reference case #3C162176.
