El Paso County – On 2/13/15, at 8:14 AM, a Colorado State Patrol Trooper attempted to contact a truck on I-25 south of Fountain. The truck fled and proceeded to exit at milepost 125. The truck continued into private property where the driver abandoned the truck and fled on foot. The Trooper lost sight of the truck and a perimeter was established. The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office assisted with a K9 search of the area. The suspect was not located.
Through witness reports and other evidence the driver of the vehicle has been identified as 22 year-old Joseph T. Hargett. If you know of Hargett’s whereabouts please contact Trooper Hamill at (719) 544-2424. A dated photo of Hargett is below. This photo shows Hargett with limited facial hair and he was seen today with a full facial hair. The Colorado State Patrol would like to thank the driver’s in the area during the brief pursuit for their cooperation with the incident. Hargett is known to the El Paso County area.

FVTimes.com was started by me, Liz Alexander with Pink Realty. Yes, I'm in real estate. I think real estate is so much more than buying and selling homes. It's all about the lifestyle, it's about community. Here in the Fountain, Widefield, Security and Southern Colorado Springs area we have such a wonderful sense of community. I wanted a place that best reflects the people, the places and the lifestyle we call home. FountainValaleyTimes.com is that place. We want to share what makes this community of ours so special. You can find all my posts
