Celebrate your Labor Day Weekend at the 2018 Colorado Springs Labor Day Lift Off, guaranteed to be a weekend full of fun for the whole family! Activities include hot air balloon launches, food, drinks, vendors, and many more activities.

The annual tradition of a hot air balloon event in Colorado Springs on Labor Day weekend, continues with the Colorado Springs Labor Day Lift Off!

A spectacular array of 60+ hot air balloons will converge in Memorial Park and participate in competitions and balloon glows, drawing spectators from Colorado and beyond.

This balloon festival will feature a beer garden and VIP tent, live entertainment and concerts, food trucks, and a weekend full of lake activities at Prospect Lake.

The Colorado Springs Labor Day Lift Off is one of the largest hot air ballooning events in the nation and the largest in Colorado. Enjoy free admission and activities for the entire family!

Thank you to the City of Colorado Springs, Parks and Recreation, City Council, Mayors office, LART, and many others that have made it possible to continue this tradition. A special acknowledgement and thank you to Mr. Dewey Reinhard for his help and support for making this happen. Dewey was the originator of the event 40 years ago, and has been instrumental in keeping this event alive!
