Calhan, CO– The Fairgrounds Corporation will present the second annual Boots in the Park event to be held at the El Paso County Fair & Events Center in Calhan, Colorado on March 11, 2023 at 6:30 pm.

Boots in the Park is a fundraising event to support facility and program upgrades at the El Paso County Fair & Events Center. The event will feature casino games, music and dancing, appetizer & dessert buffet, silent auction, whiskey pull, and more. Each registration includes $100 in chips per person, with the option to purchase more. All earnings will benefit the Fairgrounds. High point winners will be eligible for fantastic prizes.

“It is important that we continue to provide engaging opportunities for our youth and look for ways to add value to our citizens at our parks and facilities.” said Todd Marts, El Paso County Community Services Executive Director. “This event offers another opportunity to come together towards a common goal.”

The El Paso County Fair & Events Center is a community gathering and celebration for residents in eastern El Paso County. The El Paso County youth agricultural program is growing, and facility upgrades are needed to help house and showcase one of the most important and influential programs for El Paso County Youth. Funds raised will help to support program enhancements and capital improvements to the El Paso County Fair & Events Center complex.
