Security and Widefield, Colorado were Businessweek’s magazine runner up for Best place to raise kids in Colorado with Littleton, Colorado placing first. Bloomberg and Businessweek.com shifted their focus from large urbanized places to smaller towns and cities. Using data from Onboard Informatics, a total of 5,418 locations were evaluated nationwide. The communities selected were mostly inhabited by middle-income earners with good public schools, low crime and resources to keep the family entertained on weekends. Read more here…
