The Colorado Springs Police Department is requesting public assistance with a homicide investigation. The victim is active duty U.S. Army Captain Daniel Chamberlain Lehman, 28 years of age. Captain Lehman was a graduate of West Point Academy and stationed at Fort Carson. The investigation has revealed that Captain Lehman was shot near the intersection of South Nevada Avenue and Costilla Street. The shooting happened between 1:55 AM and 2:00 AM on September 15, 2018.
