Washington, DC — U.S. Representative Mike Coffman (CO-06) released the following statement in response to Amazon’s announcement that it will be building a new fulfillment center in Aurora, CO:
“I think Amazon clearly got it right when it announced, that it has chosen my hometown of Aurora for one of its new fulfillment centers.
This project, as presented will create 1,000 full time jobs, with employer provided benefits in Colorado. I encourage other companies to consider why Amazon chose to locate its new facility in Aurora and to look no further than the 6th Congressional District when adding a new facility or expanding an existing one. Colorado, the Denver metropolitan area, and our community are great places for employers to find the talented and driven individuals they need to make their businesses succeed.”
