COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.
Free fishing poles for 600 kids in Colorado Springs on Saturday at Memorial Park. The Colorado Parks and Wildlife staff will hand out the fishing poles on Saturday at Memorial Park as part of the city’s annual ‘Get Outdoors Day’ event. The celebration is led by Pikes Peak Outdoor Recreation Alliance, Colorado Parks and Wildlife, and the City of Colorado Springs, and has taken place each year during Free Fishing Weekend that takes place annually in Colorado.
Date: June 6, 2026
Time: Starting at 9 AM to 2 PM until all poles are given out.
Location: Memorial Park in Colorado Springs
