This free information day offers homeowners and community groups a choice of two focus areas on two dates. For May 5th, Please indicate the training tracks you’d like to be part of when you register:
Learn to evaluate and improve wildlfire risk on individual properties and common spaces; and build and maintain neighborhood wildfire risk reduction plans and projects. Some presenters include: National Weather Service fire weather forecaster; local fire agencies, Colorado Forest Service, Firewise neighborhood leaders, wildland fire crew members, fire zone risk assessment trainers, risk reduction experts, mitigation contractors, and more. ON May 5th at Ute Pass Elementary, participants must pick ONE training track as they’ll happen simultaneously. On May 12th in Monument, attendees may attend both tracks, or simply visit the educational exhibits.
