Lakewood, Colorado – Colorado sent 17 fire engines (Type 3 and 6) to support California wildfire operations. The request was made Tuesday, December 5, 2017, through the National Interagency Resource Ordering and Status System (ROSS).
The fire engines will support CalFire and are traveling from Colorado to Chino, California for staging and assignments. DFPC expects a second group of fire engines may also deploy to California later this week.
The National Interagency Resource Ordering and Status System (ROSS) operates in an estimated 400 interagency dispatch and coordination offices throughout the Nation. The ROSS tracks all tactical, logistical, service and support resources mobilized by the incident dispatch community.

WHO IS FOUNTAIN VALLEY TIMES?
FVTimes.com was started by me, Liz Alexander with Pink Realty. Yes, I'm in real estate. I think real estate is so much more than buying and selling homes. It's all about the lifestyle, it's about community. Here in the Fountain, Widefield, Security and Southern Colorado Springs area we have such a wonderful sense of community. I wanted a place that best reflects the people, the places and the lifestyle we call home. FountainValaleyTimes.com is that place. We want to share what makes this community of ours so special. You can find all my posts HERE.
