The Colorado Springs Children’s Chorale hosts Talent Advancement Program (TAP) performers from Sister City, Bankstown, New South Wales, Australia. The Children’s Chorale will present a free concert featuring TAP and CSCC’s Pikes Peak Singers and Summit Ensemble, joined by the Colorado Springs Youth Symphony Association. The concert will be held September 25 at 6:30 at the Historic City Auditorium, 221 E. Kiowa St.
The singers and staff of the Colorado Springs Children’s Chorale pride themselves on being musical ambassadors who connect our city with people all over the world through the power of music. There will also be a free concert the 25th of September at 6:30 at the City Auditorium. CSCC encourages all of our city’s music lovers to come out and show their support as CSCC, the Youth Symphony and TAP give a Farewell performance before TAP and members of CSCC hit the road for Vegas Baby!
Members of the Children’s Chorale will join TAP on the second leg of their tour, traveling to Las Vegas for a week of workshops, performances, and fun. The highlight of the trip will be seeing a performance by and participating in a masterclass with Human Nature, Australia’s Number one Male Vocal Group and Featured Act in Smokey Robinson’s Human Nature at the Venetian. “We are, of course, excited for the opportunity to have our kids receive coaching from world caliber entertainers Human Nature,” says Marcia Hendricks, CSCC’s Executive Director, “Even more than that, we are excited to create music that circles the globe, and to see our friends, because at this point that is the relationship that exists between TAP, CSYSA, and CSCC, friendship.”
