Spring Migration Series at Pinello Ranch

Saturday, May 10, 2014 –  7:00 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. Cost:   $9.00/adult, $7.00/college student, $5.00/children 6-18 (children 5 and under are free)

Spring migration is just around the corner! It is an amazing spectacle which begins with bluebirds and Say’s Phoebes in March, shorebirds like American Avocets in late April, followed by warblers and a host of other species in May.

Highlights will include tips on identifying different species and learning about behavior and habitat needs. At Pinello Ranch, we are working to manage the ranch for agriculture and wildlife. This spring we will also continue our bird banding project, helping us document the diverse bird life of Pinello Ranch.

Pre-registration is required for all events as group size will be limited to 15.
