The City of Fountain Fire Department will be conducting a “controlled burn exercise” (weather depending) on Saturday, July 20, 2013 in the lake bed area of Appletree Golf course in the Peaceful Valley Lakes Estates community.
This is to benefit the community be reducing the danger of wildfire and hopefully reducing the odorous conditions caused by stagnant water. The exercise should only last the day.
Residents are advised to keep doors and windows closed due to the smoke. Please stay out of the area during the exercise.
