Evergreen Cemetery located at 1005 Hancock Expressway will host its annual Memorial Day Celebration. The ceremony begins at 11 a.m. with the U.S. Cavalry Buffalo s Soldiers. At 12 p.m. there will be a balloon release to remember all those who have passed before us at the Historic Chapel. This event is free and open to the public. For more information call 719.385.6251.
VFW Post 6461 will have a Flag Raising Ceremony at 10 a.m. at 753 S. Santa Fe, Fountain Colorado. Memorial Day is for remembering and honoring our dearly departed. A memorial service and lunch will follow the Flag Raising Ceremony.
